No Matter What Comes Against Me
Habakkuk 3:17-18 Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
No matter what comes against me, I will still rejoice and joy in God. Even if the fig trees do not bloom or all fruit fails to give a harvest, I will still trust my Lord and my God. There may not be any physical food to eat or other earthly things my body needs to survive, but I will continue to trust my God and my Lord. I will continue to rejoice in Him and praise Him. I will sing his praises and laughter will fill my lungs. Why? Because God can supply my every need – even when things look like there is nothing available!
God promises me that He will take care of me in all ways I need. Take a look at Matthew 6:25-30 and Luke 12:22-32. In those verses you will find God’s promises to take care of us. All we have to do is trust Him to do what He promises.
